It examines contemporary debates surrounding the medical use of marijuana and specifically the history of the Wo/Men&#8217;s Alliance for Medical Marijuana, a nonprofit formed in the wake of California&#8217;s &#8220;Compassionate Use Act of 1996”.</p>
